'The Public Pensions Reporting Act imposes reporting requirements on public pension plans and amends certain Acts in consequence thereof. The Act requires the Minister to cause the Chief Actuary to conduct actuarial reviews of pension plans established under various Acts, including the Canadian Forces Superannuation Act, Members of Parliament Retiring Allowances Act, Public Service Superannuation Act, Royal Canadian Mounted Police Superannuation Act, and Judges Act. The Act also requires the Chief Actuary to file cost certificates and valuation reports with the Minister, which must be laid before Parliament within a certain timeframe. Additionally, the Act provides for certification of assets and reports by the Comptroller General, and lays out provisions for dissolution of Parliament and publication in the Canada Gazette.'
