Summary:

The Central Environment Council's Natural Environment Committee (49th meeting) will be held on May 22nd (Wednesday) from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the Conference Square 8th Floor of the Hibiya International Building. The meeting will be attended by 12 agenda items, including discussions on the establishment of a small committee for the protection of the Antarctic region, consultations on the designation of national parks, and reports on various topics such as the Natural Positive Economic Transition Strategy and measures to prevent damage caused by bears.

The meeting will be live-streamed on YouTube, and the URL for attendees will be posted later.
