On "13/11/2024", the "Australian Competition and Consumer Commission" issued an update regarding ACCC publishes ‘free range’ labelling guidance for poultry industries for a potential H5N1 outbreak. The ACCC has released guidance for 'free range' labelling of poultry egg and meat in case of an H5N1 outbreak, allowing producers to continue selling products with 'free range' labelling for up to 90 days during an outbreak.
