"On 19/12/2024", the "European Court of Justice (ECJ)" issued an update regarding "Liability for defective products: a supplier may be considered to be a producer if his or her name is the same as the trade mark put on the product by the manufacturer". The court clarified that a supplier can be held liable as a producer, even if they did not physically put their name on the product, but shared a similar name with the manufacturer's trade mark.
