Brief

Canada and the UK have agreed on an interim trade agreement following the end of CETA's application in the UK. The comprehensive UK-Canada Trade Continuity Agreement (TCA) took effect on 1 April 2021. This means that both countries will continue to recognize certificates for good manufacturing practices and accept batch testing certificates, eliminating the need for re-control of batches at import.
