Secure 5G and Beyond Act of 2020

The Secure 5G and Beyond Act of 2020 is a law that requires the President to develop a strategy to ensure the security of next generation mobile telecommunications systems and infrastructure in the United States, while also assisting allies and strategic partners in maximizing their security. The law establishes an "appropriate committees of Congress" which includes several Senate and House committees. The law mandates that the President submit a national strategy within 180 days, which shall include descriptions of efforts to facilitate domestic rollout, assess risks, address national security concerns, promote responsible global development, and protect competitiveness, privacy, and integrity of standards-setting bodies.
