Brief

The Satellite Television Extension Act of 2010 was enacted to reauthorize the Satellite Home Viewer Extension and Reauthorization Act of 2004 through April 30, 2010. The Act made amendments to Section 119 of Title 17, United States Code, and Section 325(b) of the Communications Act of 1934 to extend deadlines for satellite television licensing. This extension allowed for a continued period of time for licenses to be granted for satellite broadcasts.
