Brief

The Revising Existing Procedures On Reporting via Technology Act, also known as the REPORT Act, aims to strengthen reporting to the CyberTipline related to online sexual exploitation of children. The Act modernizes liabilities for such reports and preserves the contents of such reports for 1 year. It also includes provisions for limited liability for certain vendors contractually retained by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) to support their duties under section 404(b)(1)(K) of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974.
