The document "Regulations Prescribing Alternative Means of Publication (Foreign Companies)" is a regulation made under the Insurance Companies Act. It allows foreign companies to publish required information quarterly on the website of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions instead of in the Canada Gazette, starting from January 30, 2003. This change provides an alternative means for foreign companies to comply with publication requirements, and it comes into force immediately upon registration.
