Brief

'The Public Law 100-679, enacted on November 17, 1988, amends and extends the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act. The Act makes several changes to the policy and functions of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Administrator, including changes related to the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the Federal Procurement Data System. It also establishes a Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council and makes various other amendments to the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act.'
