Brief

The National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provisions) Act 2018 (No. 66, 2018) is an Act to deal with consequential and transitional matters arising from the enactment of the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation Act 2018. The Act makes amendments to the Administrative Decisions (Judicial Review) Act 1977 and the Freedom of Information Act 1982, and provides for transitional arrangements.

The Act specifies that the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NHFIC) must not make certain decisions before a particular day, including making loans, investments, or grants, or granting financial assistance to states or territories. The Minister may determine the day for the purposes of this provision.

The Act also includes a table that sets out the commencement information for each provision of the Act, and specifies that the Act will be published in an authorised version.
