Brief

The National Cybersecurity Preparedness Consortium Act of 2021 aims to support efforts to address cybersecurity risks and incidents by working with cybersecurity consortia. The Secretary of Homeland Security may work with one or more consortia to provide training, education, and technical assistance to State, Tribal, and local first responders and officials. The Act also encourages community-wide coordination in defending against and responding to cybersecurity risks and incidents through cross-sector cybersecurity training and simulation exercises.
