National Aeronautics and Space Administration Authorization Act of 1988

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Authorization Act of 1988 authorizes appropriations to NASA for research and development, space flight, control and data communications, construction of facilities, and research and program management. The Act also establishes a national space grant college and fellowship program, with authorization for $10 million in fiscal years 1988 and 1989, and $15 million in fiscal years 1990 and 1991. Additionally, the Land Remote-Sensing Commercialization Act Amendments of 1987 are made to ensure effective implementation of the original intent of that Act.
