Brief

The Copyright Royalty Tribunal Reform and Miscellaneous Pay Act of 1989 was enacted on July 3, 1990. The Act reduced the number of Commissioners on the Copyright Royalty Tribunal from six to three and changed the salary classification rates for various government officials, including those in the Copyright Office and the United States Parole Commission.
