Brief

The UK has replaced Parallel Distribution Notices (PDNs) with Parallel Import Licences (PILs) for medicinal products in Great Britain, effective at the end of the Transition Period. PDN holders can opt-in to convert their notices to PILs by notifying the MHRA and providing minimal information. This process requires a fee only for PIL maintenance, not conversion. The MHRA will allocate PL numbers and issue separate PILs for each source country requested. Companies involved in repacking must provide additional information, including supplier commitments and company functions lists.
