'The Civil International Space Station Agreement Implementation Act is a Canadian law that aims to fulfill Canada's obligations under the International Space Station Agreement. The law establishes a framework for cooperation among the governments of Canada, European countries, Japan, Russia, and the United States in the design, development, operation, and utilization of the civil international space station. It provides for mechanisms and arrangements to ensure that the object of this agreement is fulfilled, including the establishment of management bodies and decision-making procedures. The law also defines the rights and obligations of the partner states, including their jurisdiction and control over elements they provide to the space station, ownership of elements and equipment, and responsibilities in management bodies. Additionally, it provides for regulations to be made to give effect to the agreement, including a code of conduct and a memorandum of understanding or implementing arrangement.'
