Brief

'The Children's Sleepwear Regulations provide safety standards for children's sleepwear in Canada. The regulations define tight-fitting and loose-fitting sleepwear, and specify flame resistance requirements for both types. Loose-fitting sleepwear must have an average char length of 178 mm or less after testing, and not more than one specimen with a full-length char. The regulations also require labeling of loose-fitting sleepwear treated with flame retardants to display the words "flame retardant" and "ignifugeant", and instructions for care to maintain flame resistance.'
