Brief

The Charter Flights Airport Facilities Reservation Regulations were established under the Aeronautics Act to govern reservations for airport apron and terminal facilities for passenger charter flights. The regulations require air carriers to apply for a reservation at least 30 days prior to operating a non-regular charter flight with an aircraft of maximum certified take-off weight over 35,000 pounds. Airport managers must make the reservation if feasible or reject it if not, notifying the applicant in writing within two working days.
