The Canada–Ukraine Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act, 2023 is an Act to implement the 2023 Free Trade Agreement between Canada and Ukraine. The purpose of this Act is to implement the Agreement, which aims to establish a free trade area between the two countries, promote reciprocal trade, strengthen economic relations, and create opportunities for economic development. The Act also outlines various provisions related to administrative and institutional matters, panels and committees, orders, compliance with principles and guidelines, and related amendments to other Acts. The Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council, subject to certain exceptions.
