Brief

'The Broadcasting Information Regulations, 1993 were made by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) under the Broadcasting Act. The regulations require licensees to submit information on an annual basis, including a statement of accounts, and to respond to complaints or requests for information regarding their programming, technical operations, and financial affairs. Licensees are also required to provide information on their adherence to industry standards and practices. The regulations came into effect after being published in the Canada Gazette Part I on July 3, 1993.'
