Australian Business Growth Fund (Coronavirus Economic Response Package) Act 2020

The Australian Business Growth Fund (Coronavirus Economic Response Package) Act 2020 aims to increase investment in small and medium Australian enterprises by participating in and investing in the Australian Business Growth Fund. The Commonwealth may invest in a Corporations Act company that is the Australian Business Growth Fund for the purpose of providing small and medium Australian enterprises with access to capital within constitutional limits. The Minister has powers and responsibilities, including exercising rights, responsibilities, duties, and powers as a member of the Fund, shareholder in the Fund, holder of debentures of the Fund, or party to an arrangement made under section 11.
