Brief

'The Agricultural Products Marketing Act is a Canadian law that aims to improve the methods and practices of marketing agricultural products nationwide. It grants authority to provincial boards to regulate the marketing of agricultural products in interprovincial and export trade, allowing them to impose levies or charges on producers for the equalization or adjustment of moneys realized from the marketing of their products. The Act also empowers the Governor in Council to make regulations governing the granting and revocation of authority under the law, as well as providing penalties for contravening any regulation or order made by a board or agency under this Act.'
