Private Piraziz Kuzey Higher Education Female Student Hostel, Private Onur Higher Education Female Dormitory, Private Piraziz Beyza Higher Education Female Student Hostel and Private Sıla Higher Education Female Dormitory

In the meeting of the Competition Board dated 07.12.2023, within the scope of the investigation conducted per the Board decision dated 31.08.2023 and numbered 23-40/775-M about the claim that undertakings operating in the market for higher education student dormitories in Giresun violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by means of price fixing, as a result of the settlement texts sent by the undertakings depending on the Board’s interim decisions and the settlement texts where undertakings clearly accepted that they agreed with their competitors on fixing dormitory prices in the market for higher education student dormitories, it has been decided that

•  Private Piraziz Kuzey Higher Education Female Student Hostel shall be imposed 8.764,17TL
• Private Onur Higher Education Female Dormitory shall be imposed 150.618,42TL,
• Private Piraziz Beyza Higher Education Female Student Hostel shall be imposed 5.085,17TL,
• Private Sıla Higher Education Female Dormitory shall be imposed 15.684,42TL

administrative fines and thus the investigation conducted per the Board decision dated 31.08.2023 and numbered 23-40/775-M shall be terminated with settlement.
