Brief

Case No. 12 of 2024 is an investigation by the Competition Commission of India into alleged contraventions of Section 4 of the Competition Act, 2002, by Airports Authority of India (AAI), Ministry of Civil Aviation, Delhi International Airport Limited, GMR Airports Limited, and Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide. The Informants allege that GMR Airports Limited (now known as GMR Airports Infrastructure Limited) is abusing its dominant position in the airport market of Delhi, limiting provision of services, selectively awarding contracts, and engaging in exclusionary practices. The Commission found no prima facie case of contravention of Section 4 of the Act against the Opposite Parties. The information was ordered to be closed forthwith under Section 26(2) of the Act. The Commission also rejected the request for relief(s) as sought under Section 33 of the Act.
