欧州委員会ヨウロバー副委員長との会談 ヨウロバー副委員長と藤原委員長 2024年６月20日、藤原委員長はベルギー・ブリュッセルのEU本部において、欧州委員会ヨウロバー副委員長と会談を行い、EUによる日本への十分性認定の対象範囲の拡大に係る協議の着実な進展を確認し、両者の間の協議を可能な限り早期に妥結させることを視野に入れて作業を加速させることに合意しました。 EUによる日本への十分性認定の対象範囲の拡大は、日本の個人情報保護法の令和３年改正を踏まえたものであり、規制協力や円滑な研究を促進するものです。また、日EU経済連携協定がもたらす利益をさらに補完・増幅し、個人データの交換に大きく依存する他の分野の協力強化にも道を開き得るものとなります。 また、日EU両者はOECDの枠組みにおける個人データ保護とプライバシーの分野におけるDFFT（信頼性のある自由なデータ流通）の概念の具体化を含め、データ流通促進の前提条件として、高いデータ保護基準を促進するために国際レベルで協力を続ける意向を確認しました。 会議シーン 共同プレスステートメント (PDF : 206KB) 共同プレスステートメント仮訳（日本語） (PDF : 205KB)
