Brief

The Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2563 amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1646 to enhance official controls and surveillance plans for food and feed safety. This regulation requires Member States to provide detailed information on their control plans, including justifications for selected substances and species, and to submit data to the European Food Safety Authority by June each year, with minimum sampling frequencies for certain substance groups.
