Brief

The Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2563 has been PUBLISHED by the Register of Delegated and Implementing Acts on 27 September 2024. This regulation amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1646 to clarify requirements for national risk-based control plans, randomised surveillance plans, and data submission. The main purpose of this regulation is to update the content and submission process of national control plans and surveillance plans. The industry will benefit from clarified obligations and sampling frequencies, particularly regarding substance group A(3), point (b). Compliance considerations include submitting updated plans and data by Member States, with new provisions applying from 1 January 2025.
