The Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2563 of 24 September 2024 amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1646 to add new content to national risk-based control plans and national randomised surveillance plans. The amendments include additional information on follow-up measures taken by competent authorities, justification for selected substances and species, and submission requirements for data to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). The regulation also introduces changes to the submission of control plans, surveillance plan, and data, including a new minimum sampling frequency requirement. The amendments take effect from 1 January 2025.
