"On March 27, 2025, the World Intellectual Property Organization (OMPI) invites WIPO Sequence users to participate in a research project regarding the impact of changes on the minimum length for biological sequences contained in patent applications. The study aims to determine the effect of the requirement on applicants and researchers in biotechnology and related fields submitting patent applications with biological sequences."
