On 30/12/2024, the Environment Agency (EA) issued an update regarding "When electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) becomes waste (WEEE)". The EA's guidance helps determine when EEE remains as intended for reuse or becomes WEEE, considering conditions A to F, including assessing against correct waste classification codes, POPs and other chemicals, and ensuring lawful use.
