UN Environment Assembly reinforces international cooperation in combating climate change

The 6th Assembly of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEA-6) was held in Nairobi, Kenya, with representatives from 190 countries participating. Brazil will also host the COP30 climate conference in Belu00e9m in 2025. The country also co-sponsored two UNEA resolutions, promoting sustainable and resilient sugarcane industry and air quality, and committed to allocating $4.5 million for global climate and air pollution reduction projects.
