Brief

"On "12/11/2024", the "National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)" issued an update regarding "UK and allies warn about shift in cyber attackers exploiting zero-day vulnerabilities". The majority of top vulnerabilities were first exploited as zero-days, allowing malicious actors to compromise higher-priority targets. This trend is a concern for end-user organisations and vendors alike. The NCSC calls on network defenders to apply patches promptly and insist on secure-by-design products to reduce the risk of compromise. Advisory details 47 vulnerabilities including top 15 routinely exploited in 2023."
