On Thursday, December 5, 2024, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and Angola's Minister of Commerce and Industry signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch the U.S.-Angola Commercial and Investment Partnership (CIP). The CIP aims to facilitate private sector-led trade and investment in both countries by enabling engagement between business and governments to advance its goals, including promoting equitable economic growth.
