"On September 10, 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that Zhanna Soldatenkova and Ruslan Almetov, Russian nationals, were indicted for their alleged involvement in an illicit procurement network that smuggled microelectronics with military applications from the United States to Russia. The indictment alleges that they worked together with Arthur Petrov, a dual Russian-German national, to evade export controls and procure over $225,000 worth of sensitive electronics components."
