"On "05/12/2024", the "National Institute of Industrial Property" issued an update regarding "Two new geographical indications approved by the INPI: Mareuil stone and Paussac/Paussac-et-Saint-Vivien stone". The INPI recognized 21 IGs since the entry into force of the device, with these two new homologations. The Mareuil stone is valued for its resistance and aesthetic qualities, while the Paussac/Paussac-et-Saint-Vivien stone is prized for its texture and robustness."
