Tripartite Labor Outsourcing Chamber proposes reformulation of outsourced hiring legislation in RS

The Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), through the Regional Labor and Employment Superintendency (SRTE) in Rio Grande do Sul, held a meeting on January 21 to review proposals for legal changes to improve outsourcing practices. The Tripartite Labor Outsourcing Chamber (CTT) approved a document with suggestions for changes to labor legislation to curb abuses in outsourcing. The proposals aim to ensure greater transparency and equity in public procurement processes, as well as fairer and safer working conditions for outsourced workers, including on-time payment of salaries and protection against abusive practices. The CTT also approved the creation of a new working group to study the implementation of a Responsible Outsourcing Seal, a good practices guide for labor, and an exchange of best practices from existing collective labor agreements.
