To realize a sustainable construction industry, the revised Construction Business Act will be partially implemented ~ Cabinet Decision on “Cabinet Order Partially Revising the Enforcement Order of the Construction Business Act and the Enforcement Order of the National University Corporation Act” 

On December 6, 2024, the Japanese government made a cabinet decision to partially implement the revised Construction Business Act. This includes changes to regulations on monitoring technical officers' responsibilities and improving construction site management efficiency, which will take effect from December 13, 2024. The updates aim to promote fair tendering and contracting in public works projects.
