"On March 21, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued a notice to further strengthen management of intelligent connected vehicle product access, recall, and software online upgrade. The aim is to enhance the safety level of smart vehicles and promote high-quality development of the automotive industry." The departments have strengthened management requirements through intensified enterprise product quality and safety responsibility, detailed product access and recall regulations, and deepened sandbox monitoring.
