"On "30/08/2025", the "Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor)" issued an update regarding "The second brooding case of Chikungunya's fever is confirmed in Russia". Two additional patients with elevated body temperature were identified as part of a family who had recently returned from Sri Lanka. Laboratory results confirmed the presence of the Chikungunya virus in one of them, and further testing was conducted to confirm the diagnosis."
