The revision of the Enforcement Decree of the Credit Union Act to enhance the crisis response capabilities of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea passes the State Council

On "11/02/2025", the "Financial Supervisory Service (FSS)" issued an update regarding "The revision of the Enforcement Decree of the Credit Union Act to enhance the crisis response capabilities of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea passes the State Council". The revised decree allows for emergency liquidity provision by permitting the National Credit Union Federation to sell repurchase agreements to the Bank of Korea without prior approval from the Financial Supervisory Service.
