On "19/02/2025", the "Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM)" issued an update regarding "The Minerba Law is approved, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources wants the Spirit of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution to live again". This move aims to restore the main goal of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution, which emphasizes that all national wealth should be owned by the state and utilized for the benefit of the people. The new law seeks to improve the management of mineral and coal mining in Indonesia.
