On September 19, 2024, the Competition Board in Turkey concluded an investigation into an economic unity consisting of Biota Bitkisel ?laç ve Kozmetik Laboratuarlar? A? and two other companies. The investigation found that they had determined sales prices for resellers, violating Article 4 of Act No. 4054. As a result, the board imposed administrative fines totaling 31,395,633.86 TL on the economic unity. The Competition Board in Turkey terminated the investigation into the economic unity with settlement, concluding an update regarding "The Investigation About the Economic Unity Composed of Biota Herbal Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetic Laboratories Inc., Derma COS Pharmaceutical Medical and Cosmetic Industry and Internal Trade and Derma-Cos Cosmetics Industry Trade Import and Export Limited Company Concluded".
