The Hon’ble Court of Special Judge (PMLA), Jalandhar has declared Pargat Singh S/o Bhudh Singh, resident of Village Dauke Bhaini, District Amritsar and Amritpal Singh S/o Major Singh, R/o Village Mahava, District Amritsar, as proclaimed persons on 14.10.2024. The proclamation was issued in relation to a Prosecution Complaint filed by the ED, Jalandhar against Sakattar Singh @Laddi, his brother Makhan Singh and their family members in a drug trafficking based money laundering case

The Hon'ble Court of Special Judge (PMLA), Jalandhar has declared two individuals as proclaimed persons. Pargat Singh, resident of Village Dauke Bhaini, District Amritsar, and Amritpal Singh, resident of Village Mahava, District Amritsar, have been named in relation to a Prosecution Complaint filed by the ED against Saka ttar Singh @Laddi, his brother Makhan Singh, and members of their families. The case revolves around drug trafficking and money laundering, with the ED investigation revealing that Saka ttar Singh @Laddi and his accomplices have amassed multiple immovable properties and bank balances through illicit dealings in narcotics substances. The ED had previously conducted searches at 10 premises, attaching immovable properties, bank balances, and cash worth Rs. 3.91 Crore, and had arrested Saka ttar Singh @Laddi for committing the offence of money laundering. Further investigation is ongoing.
