Brief

On August 22, 2025, the Honourable Julie Dabrusin, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, announced a $5.2 million investment through the Green Municipal Fund's (GMF) Local Leadership for Climate Adaptation (LLCA) initiative. This funding will support 70 adaptation projects in various municipalities across Canada, including 11 in Nova Scotia, to strengthen climate resilience and prepare communities for the impacts of climate change.
