"On 28/03/2025, the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) issued an update regarding The CRE launches a public consultation relating to the modification of the regulation framework of the Mayotte electricity FPE following the passage of Cyclone Chido. This comes after Cyclone Chido devastated Mayotte's electrical network in December 2024, necessitating significant restoration efforts by Électricité de Mayotte (EDM) with support from Enedis and others. The CRE seeks input on proposed modifications to EDM's Fonds de Péréquation de l'Électricité (FPE) framework."
