Telecare National Action Plan: protecting telecare users throughout the digital phone switchover

On January 11, 2025, the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology issued an update regarding "Telecare National Action Plan: protecting telecare users throughout the digital phone switchover". The plan was jointly developed with stakeholders to safeguard telecare users during the analogue-to-digital telephone network transition. This transition is expected to be completed by January 2027, affecting approximately 2 million UK residents who rely on telecare services.
