Task Force rescues 7 people subjected to forced labor in a religious institution in RJ

Summary:

A joint task force composed of Auditors-Fiscal do Ministu00e9rio do Trabalho e Emprego, Procuradores do Trabalho, and Agents of the Policia Federal rescued seven individuals who were subjected to forced labor similar to slavery in a religious institution in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The investigation revealed that the pastor responsible for the location was maintaining a support house with the name of the church and was providing workers to local establishments, receiving and managing the received values with rules set by him that allowed the loss of values by dependents. The operation was conducted as part of Operation Rescue III and concluded this month.
