On 8 February, 27 February, and 7 March 2024, Intermarchu00e9, Auchan, and Carrefour respectively notified the Autoritu00e9 de la concurrence of their plans to acquire a total of 323 food retail stores operated by the Casino group. The companies simultaneously requested derogations from the suspensive effect of merger control. On 19 March 2024, the Autoritu00e9 de la concurrence granted derogations from the suspensive effect of merger control for these acquisitions.
