On Tuesday, 4 February, Martin Hindmarsh, 38, appeared at Teesside magistrates' court for contempt of court and operating an illegal waste site. He admitted to failing to comply with a court order to clear waste from the Tame Road site in Middlesbrough and was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months, along with fines and costs totalling £12,506.60.
