On October 15, 2024, the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) issued an update regarding the use of Simplified CT-e in air transport. According to ANAC, despite the October 2024 implementation of the simplified electronic invoice, its use in air transport is still not permitted due to compatibility issues between legislation governing CT-e and specific federal regulations for air transport established by the Brazilian Aeronautical Code (CBA).
